Five types, five different ways of being built.

There are five Human Design types, and your type is the single most useful thing to know first. It shapes how you are meant to engage with the world and where your energy is built to come from.

Manifestor

The initiators. Designed to act on their own urges without waiting for permission. Roughly nine percent of people. Their strategy is to inform the people affected before they act, which softens the friction that initiating naturally creates.

Generator

The builders. A defined, consistent source of life-force energy, designed to respond to what shows up rather than initiate from nothing. The largest group, around 37 percent. Doing work that genuinely lights them up gives them near-endless energy. Forcing work that does not leads to burnout and frustration.

Manifesting Generator

A fast, multi-passionate hybrid. They build like Generators but can also initiate. They skip steps, run several things at once, and get called scattered when they are simply efficient in their own way. Around 33 percent.

Projector

The guides. Not built for constant doing, but for seeing systems and people clearly and directing energy. About 20 percent. Their strategy is to wait for recognition and invitation, which is really about not spending energy where it is not wanted.

Reflector

The rare mirrors, under one percent. With no consistently defined energy centers, they sample and reflect the energy around them. They need the right environment more than any type and are designed to take a full lunar cycle before big decisions.

You are one of these five. Want to know which, for certain?
